About

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I picked up the guitar at age five and haven’t looked back since. I began formal lessons at twelve with Brandon Durham, and that’s when everything really clicked. I discovered a lifelong passion not just for playing, but for understanding and creating music.

By high school, I started an original band, was performing regularly, and entering competitions. I was honored to be selected as one of the top nine blues guitarists in New England in Guitar Center’s King of the Blues competition in both 2005 and 2007.

I went on to study at Berklee College of Music, where I earned a degree in Music Production and Engineering in 2014. While at Berklee, I joined the band Mindwalk Blvd., which has reached over 3 million views on YouTube and was named Best Heavy Rock/Metal Act at the 2010 Boston Music Conference.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to study with some incredible musicians, including Matt Garstka (named #44 on “100 Best Drummers of All Time"), Jon Finn, Scott Tarulli, Don Lappin, Joe Stump, and Evan Waaramaa. I’ve also had the chance to work with a wide range of students, from first-time players to seasoned performers.

Today, I teach full-time, perform with the band Down a 5th, write and record original music, and produce for local artists. I’ve been teaching for 19 years, 15 of those full-time, and I truly love helping students grow, whether they’re picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to take their skills to the next level.
